SMART groups help you concentrate on a positive present and future, without looking back on the past.
Topics could include but are not limited to
- Alcohol
- Opiates/Stimulants
- Prescription medication
- Recreational drugs
- Chemsex & associated harms
- Sex & porn
- Gambling
- Shopping & spending
WLGBT+ , SUIT, and RNY aim to provide a group for the LGBT+ community that is informed and responsive.
Our values are to destigmatise and not bring in shame, to create a peer-led structure that allows people to engage with the subject and bring their knowledge and expertise.
SUIT work alongside Wolverhampton’s clinical treatment provider Recovery Near You to provide a community of peer support groups that help people recover from addictive behaviours.
Both services provide tailored recovery support to clients sidelined from society, whose voices have not been heard.
SUIT are a unique service, offering people struggling with drug and alcohol use the opportunity to connect positively with recovery. All SUIT staff & volunteers have the gift of lived or living experience from drug and alcohol addiction.
Over 18’s only.
