Our treatment room is something a little special!
At WLGBT+ we never imagined or expected to be opening a treatment room! But after talking to members of the community it became clear that people wanted somewhere that they could receive holistic treatments without the fear of being misgendered or heteronormative language being used. Somewhere safe, inviting and inclusive. It seemed to make sense, after all, we’re all about making the LGBT+ community feel better about themselves, both physically and mentally!
So the idea was born… but where would we find the money?!
Well, it seems we’re quite good at writing nice letters to kind companies!
With thanks to Howdens Wednesbury, Crown Paints Wolverhampton, Embrace Wolverhampton, Sainsburys St Marks, Brighter Teaching, Awarding Care, Prestwood builders and Mark our handyman we now have a fully functioning treatment room 
Our therapists are hand picked, wonderful souls, ready to make you feel gorgeous. From facials to hopi candles, Indian head massage to HD eyebrows, we have a wide selection of treatments to suit every need. All therapists are LGBT+ trained and DBS checked, they can’t wait to make you feel wonderful too.

Having practised Reflexology in my spare time for many years, I became interested in the healing effects of stimulating areas of the body which do not seem to be connected.
Acupuncture was a natural progression for me, but especially due to the evidence confirming the positive results found in scientific research. There are many mysteries surrounding Acupuncture in the West, and many different theories as to how it works. Seeing and experiencing the positive results of Acupuncture has committed me to the practice while appreciating the mystery.
I am also a qualified NADA practitioner, and trained in Master Tung/Dr Tan style as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine and Mycology. At Dao Qi Acupuncture, a number of tools can be used such as Electroacupuncture, Cupping and Moxibustion, depending on diagnosis.

In this way, if people have imbalances (physical, emotional, or spiritual) in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall health.
