Wonderful

I’ve been ‘practicing’ yoga for a number of years at home, however, not for the past 2 years, due to life getting in the way.

A regular member told me about this class and I’ve been attending yoga for a few weeks here and from my initial yoga practice to present, I consistently recieved the warmest welcome, wonderful pre-class conversations, and a hearty laugh during the time on the mat. This combination feels natural, free flowing and is something unique to this group of wonderful souls.

I am truly greatful for the tips and adaptations given, and for always allowing space for questions (I have a lot as a neurodivergent) to be asked to our knowledgeable yoga instructor.

Thank you

I am completely grateful that I found this incredible group of people to practice yoga with. Inclusive, welcoming and hilariously funny, where else could you get this combo? Sarah is a great yoga practitioner providing modifications at every turn for this mixed ability group. This is my fun yoga group that I look forward to joining every week. Gratitude šŸ™

It really is ā€˜Yoga for All’

As someone who is overweight, neurodivergent and anxious, I never thought I would find myself ever step foot inside a yoga class. I’ve been recommended to try yoga for years for my mental health, but was always put off due to my weight. I was very self conscious on my first session, but the whole group was very friendly and welcoming and put me at ease. This is the same atmosphere in every session, and the yoga teacher, Sarah, blends the classes with a mixture of humour and gentle instruction to suit all levels of the class. Not only that, she will ask if there’s any areas of the body that needs attention and tailors her classes around people’s needs, as well as providing advice for what you can do away from the classes. I work a physically demanding job, and after suffering with aches and pains due to muscle tension as well as to the demands of the job, not only has my mental health improved but also my physical health and I have more stamina to get through the day at work. As well as this, anyone of any sexuality and gender are welcome to attend and people with neurodivergence are met with care and understanding, and their needs are met to the best of the classes ability. I really need to thank Sarah so much for helping to improve my overall health, and to WLGBT for providing a safe and comfortable environment for everybody. It really is Yoga for all!!

The yoga is always well-delivered in a comfortable atmosphere.

Serious and good-humoured, at the same time.

I have been attending regularly for eighteen months.
